Group of printed and colored maps from United States Pacific Rail Road Explorations and Surveys: 47th and 49 Parallels Plate LII. Litho by Sarony, Major & Knapp. NY. Formerly mounted. Ten others are black, with hand colored highlights. Light foxing on some of the maps. Included are plates cut from A military Reconnaissance from Ft. Leavenworth in Missouri to San Diego, Calif. 1848. 14 plates all with stains and foxing. An interesting group from the early west.
