Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois, Delaware, 1894-1917. Collection of Letters from various Ammunition and Firearm Manufacturers, Including US Ammunition, Iver Johnson's Arms & Cycle Works, Aetna Explosive Co. Inc., Western Cartridge Co., E.I. du Pont de Nemours Powder Inc., and Fort Pitt Powder Co. Most of the letters refer to orders coming in or samples being sent out. However, one letter from Iver Johnson's in particular refers to the time "when the ubiquitous legislator gets busy in the land, and tried to put though some sort of revolver legislation" and that Iver Johnson's is appealing to all "to be on alert to detect and to obstruct" the possible legislation. All pieces are in VF-XF condition. (12). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
