Freehold , NJ. $5, June 1, 1858, Wait 627, Haxby NJ-155-A-20, R-5. This bank was incorporated in 1855. In 1865, it was converted to the Freehold National Banking company. This note was altered from a $5 Bank of Greensborough, Georgia(Haxby GA 165-G-6). This is the Haxby plate note. Printed in black with a blue 'FIVE' protector above the central vignette which shows three men working on a log. A vignette of sheep shearing is at left, and a corn picking vignette is at right.
