Paris, France, 1767 (1768), 7 Page 13 x 8.75 inches, printed on untrimmed bond type of paper, Alsace loan for 6000 Livres = 300 Livres, Issued historic document from pre revolutionary France. “Rentes” were issued as loans or bonds that would be converted into perpetual annuities. This document was issued to “Jean Francis Yvon, Master Roofer of Paris in the service of the building's of the King, living in Paris.....accepting this document for 300 Livres”. Also included is an 1814 engraving of Louis XVII as well as a detailed translation of the loan document as well as a history of the Seven Years War which was the reason the “Rentes” were created to begin with.
