Lot of 75+ issued stock and bond certificates, a majority are I/U, highlighted by Serial #1 certificates, from a wide range of American corporations spanning various industries, including transportation, utilities, real estate, manufacturing, construction, food, and investment companies. Highlights include The Georgetown Tunnel Transportation Company; Globe Automatic Sprinkler Company of the United States; The George Wittholz Company; Great Southern Sulphur Company; Greenbaum Sons Investment Company; Guerdon Industries, Inc.; Golden West Markets, Inc.; Gulf States Land & Industries, Inc.; Great Lakes Terminal Warehouse Company of Toledo; General Telephone Corporation; General Panel Corporation; Great Eastern Lumber Company; George Seaton Thompson Company; G & G Shops of Virginia, Inc.; Giant Publishing Corporation; and many others. Certificates display an array of detailed engraved vignettes, multicolor borders, and company logos typical of the period. A number of supporting documents and related materials are also included. An expansive and varied group showcasing a cross-section of American corporate activity from the early to mid-20th century.
