New York.... Lot of 2 pieces, Includes: 1870 $2000 Floating Debt Fund Stock of the City of New York I/C 6% Bond, S/N 315, issued to George K. Sistare, due from the Mayor Alderman and Commonalty of the City of New York. Black text with black border, New York City Hall depicted at top center, New York City coat of arms at bottom center. Cancelled in ink, cancels over signatures at bottom. Fine condition; Lot also includes an 1863 issued irrevocable stock power document, issued to and signed by George K. Sistare, Fine condition with an adhesive 25 cent Internal Revenue stamp at bottom left. Sistare was a member of a Wall Street banking family, and operated the firm George K.
