Georgia, 1777, $5 Spanish Milled Dollars, P-S799, Issued, S/N 3680, Cannon in seal on lower right, The Blue-green seals are the most difficult series of all the Georgia Colored Seal notes which were issued 1776 through 1778. It's an immensely popular series partly due to the unusual run of dollar denominations: $2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 Dollars. The note appears Choice XF to AU with nice margins, bright seal and fresh appearance with small edge faults on the left margin as well as light stain on the left margin back. This note brought $1,840 in a major sale in January, 2005, nearly eight years ago. Catalogs in Newman $2500 VF.
