Lot of 250+ Issued Notgeld and emergency currency from towns and cities throughout Germany, including Aken; Altenau im Harz; Bentheim; Brunsbüttelkoog; Eldagsen; Greiffenberg; Hamburg; Hachenburg; Krempe; Langenhorn; Malente-Gremsmühlen; Mühlhausen; Münster; Oppurg; Osnabrück; Quern; Roda bei Ilmenau; Saalfeld; Sellin auf Rügen; Strausberg; Sulza Bad; Tönndorf-Lohe; and Weener, among others. Notes are housed in a binder with meticulous handwritten collector notes and organization. Designs feature local heraldry, town views, allegorical imagery, and regional themes typical of German inflation-era emergency money. VF to CU condition, with most Uncirculated or better. (250+).
