Bradenburg-Havel, Germany, 1917. Lot of 5 Issued Notgeld notes from the Inspektion der Kriegsgefangenenlager im Bereich des III. Armeekorps, consisting of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 Pfennig denominations, each with ornate borders, Imperial eagle at top center, bold denomination panels, individual serial numbers, and printed signatures of camp authorities. Issued for use within German prisoner of war camps during World War I as internal camp currency. Notes range from Uncirculated to CU condition with strong color and eye appeal overall. (5) Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
