Chemnitz, Germany, ND (1914-17). Lot of 9 Issued Notgeld used in Chemnitz POW Camp run by XIX Army Corps out of Leipzig, Lot includes: 1 Pfennig, 2 Pfennig, 5 Pfennig, 10 Pfennig, 20 Pfennig, 50 Pfennig, 1 Mark, 2 Mark, and 5 Mark. The Germans built the camp shortly before the war and incarcerated Allied prisoners here in 1914. Notes are in Uncirculated to CU condition. (9). Sold "AS IS" no returns.
