Lot of 96 issued German Notgeld banknotes from the World War I and early inflation-era emergency currency period, representing a wide range of municipal and local issues, includes notes from towns such as Münster, Weimar, Lichtenhall, Aschaffenburg, Landshut, and Lauingen, among others. Designs feature city views, historic buildings, coats of arms, allegorical figures, and narrative illustrated scenes, Numerous town issues and design varieties are represented throughout the group.
