Berlin, Germany, 1917. Lot of 6 Issued Notgeld notes from the Inspection of Prisoner of War Camps of the III Army Corps, Includes: 10 Pfennig; 25 Pfennig (2); 50 Pfennig; 5 Mark; 10 Mark. Notes feature ornate designs with bold central denomination panels, decorative borders, printed signatures of camp officials, and individual serial numbers. Issued for controlled circulation within German POW camps during World War I, where special camp currency regulated prisoner transactions. Notes range from Fine to Vf+ overall with strong color and detail. (6). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
