Partially printed and manuscript-completed receipt acknowledging the transfer of holdings in the Consolidated 3% Annuities (a major British government debt instrument) during the Regency/George III era. Issued to Charles Dixon on the 31st of August, 1811, documenting the consideration paid and the transferred amount (about £3,930). Includes revenue text warning against fraud, numerous handwritten financial notations, and signatures of officials and witnesses, including R. H. Sutton. Printed on period laid paper with typical fiscal formatting of early 19th-century Bank of England transfer forms. An attractive early British financial document suitable for scripophily or historical collections.
