Greenock, Scotland, 18xx (ca.1820), £20, P-Unlisted, Black on translucent paper, tree with sailing ship at dock in background in middle with wheat, anchor and sextant on left, (in operation 1785-1843), Unissued or specimen note on watermarked paper with counterfoil, printed by Kirkwood & Sons. £20 was an enormous amount of money at the time, equivalent to 100 US gold dollars. The note has been folded vertically 3 times, otherwise no wear so this would grade Choice XF.
