U.S. and Germany, ND (1880s-1900s). U.S. designed and produced advertising cards, signs, and vignettes offered by a German printing company, Joseph Heim, from Leipzig and Wien, as samples of American work. Evidently they represented the American companies in Europe as (American Mercantile Work), the card is 9.5 x 12 inches with card designs from Chicago and Milwaukee, WI. Designs include Kurtz Bros., restaurant ad, and other vignettes and ads. 6 different card and letterhead designs are included on the sheet. XF condition. Printed in black, red and light tan. All were printed by the Gugler Litho Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin
