Sag Harbor, New York, 1811. Early Handwritten Letter with remarkable penmanship, Dark brown print on off-white paper. The author writes to his brother, relaying family news, such as the passing of Aunt Polly's baby, and other details of his life. He writes, "We have had but two snows that [were] deep enough or fit for sleighing." There is a also a letter on the back, writing to his "Dear Nephew." Fine condition with signs of wear, piece missing from bottom margin, and toning. Oval red Sag Harbor Postal handstamp on back.
