HART bei AMSTETTEN was a POW concentration camp in Austria, administered by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. This camp was initially setup for captured officers during the Great War. The field of Hart was a collection of shacks on a rectangular plan divided into small rooms and mostly held Russian prisoners of war. There were 280 small rooms for officer prisoners. While the units had central heating, it rarely worked due to the scarcity of fuel. (30). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
