Boston , Massachusetts, 1880, "Heath's Infallible Government Counterfeit Detector - Large and Improved Edition Illustrated With Proof Impressions from the original Engraved Government Plates by Authority of the U.S. Treasury". Red cloth binding, gold title imprint on face, 45 pages with 11 engraved plates plus the front title plate, All of the plates are in exceptional condition, Includes a little over the left half of each note with a Legal Tender on top and National Banknote below, from $1 to $1000, front and back. This is as close as most of us will ever be to a proof or issued example of the higher denominations. Great reference as well as exceptional counterfeit detector. The outer cover is a little worn, splitting of the inner front cover from the plate, otherwise in VF condition with the plates in XF. This counterfeit detector version is rarely seen.
