Hoboken, NJ. Lot of 3 Notes, Includes $2, $3, & $6, 1826-1861, Wait 777, 780, & Unlisted, R-2. Three pieces. The two banknotes are both issued, black printing and uniface. The Hoboken Banking & Grazing Co. was incorporated in 1823, and lasted less than ten years. The third piece in this lot is a $6.00 Relief Warrant issued to families of volunteers for the Civil War by the Treasurer of the City of Hoboken. Undoubtedly a rare item, it is unlisted in Wait, dated July 16, 1861, and printed in light blue. AU to CU condition. A.B. & C. Durand Wright & Co. (3)
