New Haven, Connecticut. September 1st, 1888, $5 Hogarth Academy Bank, Schingoethe Ct-312-5. Well Circ. - $5 (Rare Denomination). Issued Sept. 1, 1888. With vignettes of a Native American on the left, school building in the center and a man with corn on the right. There is also a center vignette of a dog and a safe at bottom. Stamped In red on the front with a "5", "Series A," "No. 13,879" and the Seal of Connecticut. The reverse has denominations in green on a white background. Measures approximately 7 x 3 inches. Rare college currency note and first time offered by us.
