Chicago, Illinois, 1900. 10 Shares Capital Stock I/U Certificate, Black print with green border and underprint, Large mountain at top center under company title, 50 cent revenue stamp at top right corner, S/N B749, XF condition. This historic 1900 issued and used (I/U) stock certificate from the North American Transportation and Trading Company represents a vital artifact of the Klondike Gold Rush era. Established by Chicago industrialists alongside legendary trader Healy, the company operated as a powerful mercantile and shipping monopoly, fiercely rivaling the Alaska Commercial Company along the Yukon River. The document features an ornate security border and fine corporate engraving, capturing the peak period of Alaskan and Canadian mining expansion. Reflecting the immense capital poured into northern transportation, outfitting, and exploration at the turn of the century, this certificate is a premier piece of Western financial history.
