ND (ca. 1911) 50 Tomans, P-7. Unlisted specimen banknote. Black on red, green and brown with portrait of Nasr-ed-Din on right, Arms with lion at left with "Payable at Tehran Only" in Farsi overprinted on top of it, back brown with Lion at center with "Payable at Tehran Only" in English on top margin. No Signatures on face. Pin punch "Specimen" once in middle. Back has 4 serial number locations printed in black, UR, LL and two vertically in middle center, Serial #'s "H/B 02001 -H/B 04000. The note appears CU to Gem Uncirculated condition, but the note has one vertical fold in the middle left so it technically grades between XF+ to AU, otherwise, the note is another amazing fresh example from this extremely difficult series. This is the seventh of 8 notes from this extremely rare and popular series that is sure to attract considerable attention. BW&C.
