India. A group of four British India silver One Rupee coins including two 1840 East India Company issues, each with the Young Queen Victoria portrait and the classic wreath reverse, both in Choice AU to Uncirculated condition with strong detail and bright original surfaces; an 1862 Queen Victoria Rupee of the early “Queen” type, showing the crowned bust and ornate floral reverse, in About Uncirculated condition though lightly cleaned; and an 1887 Victoria Empress Rupee of the later “Empress” type with intricate engraving and bold legends, in Choice XF condition.
