Lot of 4 items. This group consists of five proof stock certificates from a selection of American industrial and insurance companies, each printed with a fully completed title, vignette, description, and colored border, with face-only printing and blank reverses. These proofs were used for approval and archival purposes and represent late-stage production material. Included are ABM Industries Incorporated, a provider of facility services and solutions, with a red border; Aztec Manufacturing Co, an industrial firm specializing in metal coatings and precision components, with a green border; ACE Limited, a global insurance and reinsurance company, with a green border; and Autoliv Inc, a worldwide leader in automotive safety systems, with blue borders. This well-composed group highlights the diversity of late 20th-century industrial and financial corporations and their associated security printing designs. Overall condition is Very Fine to Uncirculated (5). Almost all of these certificates are rare as proofs and progress proofs, with many being unique in this format, or only 2 or 3 known in the ABNC Archives.
