Lot of 8 items. This collection features a mix of proof and progress proof stock certificates from major American industrial, electrical, utility, and steel-related companies. Most are face-only with blank reverses. Proofs are fully printed with title, vignette, description, and colored borders, while progress proofs are partially printed and generally lack borders or seals. These examples reflect the final or intermediate stages of the security printing process and were likely retained by the printer for archival or approval purposes. Included are The PMI Group Inc, a mortgage insurance company, with a brown border; Capital Senior Living Corporation, a senior housing and assisted living provider, with a blue border; Rouge Steel Company, a leading steel manufacturer formerly part of Ford Motor Company, with no border; Group Maintenance America Corp, a facilities services and maintenance company, with a blue border; two certificates from Outdoor Systems Inc, a national outdoor advertising firm, one with a blue border and one lacking a border; Emerson Electric Co, a diversified industrial and engineering corporation, with no border; Georgia-Pacific Corporation, a leading manufacturer of paper and building products, with a purple border. This collection presents a strong visual and corporate cross-section of late 20th-century American industry, from steel and paper to power and advertising, and captures a range of print stages used in the production of security documents. Overall condition is Very Fine to Uncirculated (8). Almost all of these certificates are rare as proofs and progress proofs, with many being unique in this format, or only 2 or 3 known in the ABNC Archives.
