Various States. Lot of 25+ items, including convention souvenir programs, banquet invitations, and fraternal greetings issued by various locals and affiliated organizations. Highlights include programs from the Eleventh Biennial International Convention, 1983; Thirteenth Biennial Convention, Philadelphia, May 1987; and Eighty-Sixth Convention, Warwick Hotel, Philadelphia, June 11–17, 1995. Also featured is the Eighty-Seventh Convention, Fort Worth, Texas, April 20–26, 1997, with engraved and printed sheets celebrating Texan heritage and U.S. veterans. Additional items include printed greetings from the New York Plate Printers Union Local 58, Bank Note Engravers’ Guild of New York Local 28, Finishers of New York Local 29, and other locals, as well as pieces issued with compliments of the United States Banknote Company and Security-Columbian Banknote Company. Several sheets feature original-style engraved vignettes and design elements, including allegorical figures, patriotic themes, and reproductions of ABNC archive material. A large and varied grouping spanning the late 20th century, with strong ties to both the history of the engraving trade and American labor unions. Condition averages VF to Choice VF, with clean impressions and light handling. (25+). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
