Lot of 40+, I/U, I/C and U/U stock certificates from a wide variety of American investment, finance, industrial, entertainment, and specialty companies., Featured is an interesting group of entertainment, and silent movie certificates including 1919, Democracy Photoplay Co., Voting and non voting shares;1917, Birth of a Race Photoplay Corp.; 1921, Chicago Standard Cinemas; Barrel Amusement Co.; and, 1905, Majestic Extravaganza Co.; also included are certificates from Hanover Trust Co., Exchange National Investing Co., Commerce Co. of Cuba, Industrial Federation of America, American Founders Securities Co., American Finance & Construction Co., United States Building & Loan Association, Barg Ranch Stock Farm Serial #1, Brotherhood Investment Co., Industrial Securities Co., International Money Machine Co., Colonial Investment Trust, American Reserve Bond Co. and others. Certificates feature ornate borders and classic American eagle and allegorical vignettes, with several theatrical and entertainment-related issues adding interest. Condition varies from Fine to Extremely Fine, with multiple colorful and well-preserved examples.
