Lot of 8 Depression era municipal and local emergency currency notes, Include: 1933, $1 I/C Chamber of Commerce Scrip note from Clay Center, Kansas; 1933, County of Guilford, I/C Revenue Anticipation Notes in 25 Cents, $1, and $5 denominations; 1932, City of Charleston , I/C, municipal Pay Warrants for $1, $5, and $10 denominations issued to the Police Department. Designs feature engraved borders, official county seals, and printed municipal obligation text typical of emergency local currency and short term financing instruments issued during the early years of the Great Depression. Conditions range from Fine to VF overall with folds, handling, and circulation wear. (8). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
