New Jersey. Letters and poetry written by C. A. Van Tassell, one of Thomas Edison's assistants, all written on Thomas Edison's letter head. In one of his letters, Van Tassell wrote to his fiancé and spoke to her about requesting patents and possibly selling one patent he developed to Edison. All letters are Fine-XF condition.
