Providence, Rhode island. 18xx (ca.1850-60's). (RI-325-G12 Unlisted) and (RI-325-G14 Unlisted) Proprietary Proof sheet of 2 notes, $50-$100. Printed on thin beige card in dark brown. $50 with eagle in middle flanked by allegorical indian maiden on right and notable gentleman on left; the $100 has eagle on lower right and Surrender of Cornwallis to Washington on top left. Unlisted color brown, different printer "TCC" instead of "ABNC" and also as proof sheet. Back has "Property of American Bank Note Co." stamped on back of each note in red. Uncirculated to CU condition. American Bank Note Co., New York imprint on bottom of note, not "TCC" as listed in Haxby. Rare notes that were released in 1991 from the Christie's auction of the ABN Archives.
