Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, & Dakota, 1921-29. Lot of 3 Specimen Coupon Bonds, Includes: $1000, 6 1/2% Equipment Bond with Blue border, 1921; $500, Series B, 5 1/2% Bond with Light Blue border, 1929; and, $1000 Series B, 5 1/2% Bond with Purple border, 1929. All have Specimen overprints, POCs, are in VF to XF condition, printed by ABNC. (3). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted. The Minneapolis, St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie Railway, or "Soo Line," was founded in 1888 to connect the Midwest with Canada, mainly transporting grain and lumber. It became a key regional freight carrier and was later acquired by the Canadian Pacific Railway in the 1960s, eventually merging with it in the early 1990s. The 1921, $1000 Equipment bond is an unlisted earlier date and type in Cox, the other 2 Series B bonds are only known as specimens, no issued examples known. All are rare.
