New York, 1910, Odd Shares, Stock Trust Certificate, Specimen, Black on green border and underprint, No vignette, Specimen overprints and POC's, S/N 00000, Only 2 certificates found for this company. The tracks on the Manhattan Bridge were in place shortly after the bridge's opening day on December, 1909, but they were never connected to any subway routes on either side of the bridge since none existed. In 1912, the Manhattan Bridge Three Cent Line, a trolley company, began running trolleys over the subway tracks on a temporary basis until 1915. Probably one of the shortest railroad lines in existence.
