Various States, ca.1900-70s. Lot of 100+ Issued & Uncancelled (80+), I/C (20+), Remainder and specimen stock and bond certificates including 3 or 4 Serial #1 certificates, representing a wide variety of American manufacturing, utilities, and industrial companies from the early to mid-20th century. Included are certificates from George M. Forman & Co.; Georgia Power Co.; Geotechnics and Resources, Inc.; Hydraulic Press Brick Co.; Gary and Loveless Co.; Gary Home Builders Co.; Gas-O-Gen Corp.; Galesburg District Fair Association; Hygienic Liquid Package Co.; R. H. Hyland Co.; and Gediminas Building and Loan Association, among others. Several pieces feature detailed allegorical vignettes, industrial motifs, or regional company seals, with engraved borders in colors such as orange, green, purple, and brown. Certificates range from common and preferred stock to trust certificates and corporate bonds, reflecting the wide scope of American industrial and utility enterprise. Condition ranges from Fine to Extremely Fine, with some edge wear and minor archival notations. (60+). Sold “AS IS” no returns accepted.
