Maritime Advertising, Ephemera, Steamship Post cards & Correspondence Collection of over 90 items, Featuring United States Lines, Hamburg-America, Clyde-Mallory & More, 1910s to 1980s, Binder of maritime advertising, promotional material, correspondence, covers, menus, postcards, and related ephemera spanning 1910s to 1980s, with emphasis on prominent passenger lines. Advertising highlights include United States Lines pieces from 1925–1936, a 1952 pamphlet, and 1984 customer service bulletin; Beckett, Laycock & Watkinson Ltd. (1952); Brown hoist Cranes (1953); Panama Pacific Line (1934 & 1935); American President Lines (1949); Mediterranean Cruise Lines (1930); Hamburg American Lines (1930); and North German Lloyd adverts. Maritime ephemera features covers from the maiden voyages of S.S. United States (1952), S.S. Cristobal (1939), S.S. Panama (1939), and S.S. Mormacisle (1946); United States Lines postcards and labels; photograph and postcard of Hamburg-America Line; Holland-America Line postcard collection; and menus from S.S. Muenchen (March 30, March 31, April 6) and S.S. Bremen (1959). Correspondence includes Clyde-Mallory Lines letterhead, Clyde Steamship Co. and Clyde-Mallory Lines communications, and a letter from Gress Manufacturing Co. Additional items include a 1914 Western Union Telegram regarding route changes to Germany due to the Great War, a National Postage Stamp Show group of four stamps, a travel agent advert, and an advert for National Dairy Products.
