Massachusetts State Lottery Ticket Signed by Revolutionary War Officer, Politician and Notable, David Cobb.Massachusetts, March 2, 1790. Second Class Lottery Ticket, #123. AU with minor toning spots and one small worm hole on the top left margin that is not noticeable unless held up to the light. Black on white with ornate counterfoil on left. Signed by David Cobb, Revolutionary War Officer who was Aide-de-camp of Washington during the war. After the war he became Major-General of Militia and Judge of Bristol County court of common pleas. He was elected to the Massachusetts senate in 1802 and was a member of the board of military defense in 1812. Scarce early U.S. lottery ticket with Revolutionary War notable's autograph. Also included is a portrait with additional information of Cobb.
