Chihuahua, Mexico, ND (1890). 100 Pesos, M631s, P-Unlisted, Specimen Circulating Bond, Black on red underprint, Allegorical Reaper at right and dog with safe at left, at left, Back is red with arms of Mexico at center, S/N 00000, Specimen overprints and POCs, PMG graded About Uncirculated 55 EPQ with comments "Counterfoil Included, Printer's Annotations & Stamp," ABNC. Text on circulating bond states "El Erario del Estado conforme a su Ley de Presupuestos pagara al portador - Diez Pesos - en plata del cuno Mexicano". Rare, attractive and a prize for any collector of trophy Mexican banknotes. The first example sold for $3,737 with the Buyer's Premium in our second auction in October, 2007. This is the last of 3 notes of this issue that were found in the ABNC Archives in 2002, with this being the last opportunity to purchase an example of this amazing note.
