Butte, Montana, 1919. Hand written letter on thin sheet of brass with vignette of the mine on top, the shaft "Butte nearly a mile deep" on the left side of the letter and the bottom with small ore cars headed to the shaft. The letter starts out "Greetings from this rich copper mining...". Other then the folds, it is in VF condition. Interesting copper mining related ephemera.
