Close to 170 proof vignettes. Includes bank titles, notable men, numeral medallions and counters, borders, bond coupons, letterheads, vignettes of trains, navigation and numerous other subjects. Additionally there are 12 different foreign banknotes represented by either fronts or backs including Argentina, Banco Entre Riano, P-S1661, 1 Peso, front and back proofs; P-S1662, 5 Pesos back proof; P-S1663, 10 Pesos back proof; P-S1664, 20 Pesos back proof; P-S1665, 100 Pesos back proof. Peru, El Banco De Lima, P-S241, 1 Sole, proof back; P-S243, 8 Soles, proof front of under tint and border, no vignettes or text and proof back; P-S244, 20 Soles, Proof back; P-S245, 80 Soles, proof back; P-S246, 400 Soles, all are listed as rare and unpriced in Pick. Other high lights include the title and text of "Butter Cup Silver Mining Co., Eureka Nevada" text from extremely rare Western scrip note; steamship and railroad vignettes and a back legend from a a Florida obsolete banknote. Condition ranges from almost good to VF condition with archival notations in ink on a considerable number of the vignettes.
