New York, ND (ca.1900-1920), leather bound booklet with "No.21" in gold letters on the top left corner, 18 pages with the same design but different colors, the design of each page includes the ABNC Logo of a Screaming Eagle in the middle flanked and under the title "American Bank Note Company", with "Color No. -P1" (Black for the first page, but varies for each page going from P1 to P20), with the entire design including an ornate cycloid engraving, backs are blank, the first blank page (inner cover page) is loose, everything else is intact and in AU to Uncirculated condition. each page has written on the back a color and denomination. Further research was not able to attribute the color and denomination to any U.S. stamp from the 1880s until the 1920s, so it may possibly refer to a foreign stamp design and color choice. This is the first time we have seen or offered this booklet at auction. Rare to say the least. ABNC. (1 Booklet of 20 Pages).
