Fargo the co-founder of American Express and Wells Fargo, as Secretary; Henry Wells, the co-founder of American Express, as President; and, Alexander Holland, as Treasurer, who was an early and important officer of American Express who helped manage its financial and administrative growth, "CAPITAL Stock 6,000 Shares" with a date of 'March 19th 1863 typed in purple beneath the 6000 Shares at left, VF condition or better. J. H. Duyckinck Stationer, NY; also includes an 1854, Cleveland, Ohio, "American Express package receipt for the delivery of "Banknotes" valued at $1155. List of all the cities it delivers to is at the left. VF condition. (2).
