ND (ca.1883-1885 , the date of most of the items from the sample book). 6 tickets in different colors from this railroad. Vignette of the Brooklyn Bridge and New York Harbor filled with ships. "Not Good if Detached" written under the vignette. Facsimile signature C.C.Martin as Chief Engineer & Superintendent. All are from a Hamilton BNC sample book and have very light purple "Specimen" overprints on them. The are printed on india paper on thin card and the backs are blank except for one. 5 are proofs and one is a specimen and they are all trial colors. Colors are black, green, orange, brown, blue and orange-red. All are in XF condition but a few of the proofs have theindia paper starting to peel off of the card. HBNC. Rare early Brooklyn Bridge and railroad related ephemera.
