Coupons attached, POC's, S/N 95, Signed by President Millard Filmore as Comptroller of the company, VF to Choice VF condition, George F. Nesbett, NY Printer. Filmore was the 13th President of the United States from 1850–1853 and was the last member of the Whig Party to hold the office of president. He was Zachary Taylor's Vice President and assumed the presidency after Taylor died. He furthered the rising trade with Japan; clashed with the French over Napoleon III's attempt to annex Hawaii, and with the French and the British over the attempt of Narciso López to invade Cuba. Fillmore co-founded the University of Buffalo and helped found the Buffalo Historical Society. He was the first New York State Comptroller elected by general ballot. As state comptroller, he revised New York's banking system, making it a model for the future National Banking System. Rare Railroad bond with famous signature.
