New York, NY, 18xx (ca.1850's), $1-$1-$1-$1; Plates A; B; C; D, NY-1780-G2-G2-G2-G2, All are SENC notes, Black on india paper no protector or overprints, 1/2 length figures of Faust, Guttenburg & Schoedder, the inventors of printing books in middle, Franklin on lower left and New York Registration on right, the top note has missing pieces from top left border, All with small POC's and light red-pink overprints on back that have bled through in a few areas, the plate B note has a tape repair on back but looks AU to Uncirculated, the Plate C note would grade CU if cut and the bottom note has a repair on the bottom left border but looks attractive. BA imprint.
