"Progress of Civilization" ca.1840's-1860's. 8 different vignettes of Native Americans viewing trains, ships and large cities from afar. The vignettes are 3 by 5 inches in size. All are printed on india paper and mounted to manila file cards. Titles include "Across the Continent"; "Great West"; "First Train" with the balance untitled. Printers include NBNC (3); BCC (2) and DWC (3). Condition ranges from VG (1 has a small internal tear and light foxing or glue stains) to choice uncirculated condition. Please inspect.
