Hoy and signed by him on back, small steamship at bottom middle, Adhesive perforated revenue stamps on back including R-60, 50 Cents, Original & Process; R-81, $2, Conveyance; R-91, $5, Mortgage. Ink burn in middle from endorsement on back, otherwise in VF condition. Scarce with high denomination revenue stamps. Possibly issued for the cotton trade which ramped up right after the Civil War.
