New Orleans, 1851-1901. Lot of 3 documents related to New Orleans, Includes: A stampless letter from 1851 referencing cotton being shipped as it comes in rather than holding it so the seller will know how his cotton is doing, attached to the stampless cover with red circular "New Orleans, La. - WAY 6" postmark; a hipping receipt or waybill from 1852 for 4 barrels of pork with image of a steamboat loaded with cotton on the top left leaving port in New Orleans; and, a 1901 Lottery ticket from "Draw the Louisiana Lottery". All pieces range from VF-XF condition. (3). Sold "AS IS" no returns accepted.
