Vignette of the Brooklyn Bridge and New York Harbor filled with ships. “Not Good if Detached” written under the vignette. Facsimile signature C.C.Martin as Chief Engineer & Superintendent. All are from a Hamilton BNC sample book and have very light purple “Specimen” overprints green, orange, brown, blue and orange-red. All are in XF condition but a few of the proofs have the india paper starting to peel off of the card. HBNC. Rare early Brooklyn Bridge and railroad related ephemera.
