North Carolina. 1761 Proclamation Money, 15 Shillings, Printed on thinner rag type non-watermarked paper. S/N 1329, Printed on one side, but with a multitude of signatures (Lewis de Rosset, John Starkey, John & Samuel Swann) and reverseæ shows colonial scribblings, notations etc. VG to Choice VG with several splits with a hinge repair. This money was worth what Queen Anne set it at and was enforced from 1704 until the start of the American Independence Movement in 1775.
