Close to 80 proof vignettes. Topics include railroads, bond coupons, borders, medallions, notable men, numerals and other interesting items. High Lights include banknote proofs from Mexico, El Banco De Mejicano, 25 Centavos, P-S143, front and back proofs; 50 Centavos, P-S144, front and back proofs; 1 Peso, P-S145, front and back proofs, condition is mixed for all, but rare notes on rare presentation sheet. There is also an Argentina proof stamp; NY 20 cents Scrip Note for "Public Exchange"; Guatemala, Banco Internacional De Guatemala, 1 Peso, P-S151, unlisted proof, front and back in black; 6 or 7 New York Elevated Railroad tickets in red; U.S. Private Die Proprietary Stamp, Hazeltine, 1 cent, RS101, die proof and Tallcot, 1 cent, RS239 color trial die proof. Condition ranges from almost good to fine condition with archival notations in ink on a considerable number of the vignettes. The plate numbers listed on the vignettes or written close to the vignettes range from # 3886 to 4330. Another rare group of obsolete and foreign banknote related vignettes. NBNC.
