The Overseas Chinese Patriotic Aviation Bond was issued during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945) to raise funds for China's aviation sector, crucial in the fight against Japan. It targeted overseas Chinese communities, especially in Southeast Asia and North America, appealing to their patriotism. The funds helped purchase aircraft and support the Chinese Air Force. The bond campaign was successful, highlighting the strong ties between the Chinese diaspora and their homeland, and played a vital role in sustaining China's resistance against Japan during the war.
